Nanny Rant: I Saw Your (Black) Nanny
Is I Saw Your Nanny just an excuse to bash black nannies? Like how many pics of Afro-Caribbean women behaving badly do we need to see?
Go on any 'mommy' site these days and encounter at least one thread a day attacking nannies with veiled and not so veiled racial over-tones, "she had a thick Jamaican accent" OR "she was eating fried chicken" read BLACK BLACK BLACK. Check out the trolls on URBAN BABY. Some of the things they said about Yoselyn Ortega were totally racist! Black Nanny bashing is in vogue.
On weekends when parents are forced, by those inconsiderate Black nannies, to hang out with their kids, they do all the same s**t only worse. Texting half asleep walking their strollers into people, chatting and networking in parks with other neighborhood parents while their kids run into the road or eat sand. These A-holes even text or tweet while their kids are doing art projects or gym performances and staring them right in the face.
But that's okay because they're WHITE.

West Village Hypocrite
"She's married to the guy in that band, you know the boy band, them famous, like world famous. Them live in the West village. She recently hire a Thai girl right off the boat, she barely speak a word of english, she live in, then the woman she hide the girl's papers, say she can't leave them just lying around. The girl go crazy, crying and such. But the mother don't care. Why she hide the girl's papers? I don't understand?
Then she make her work everyday, even though the girl want to go to church Sunday. They take her to the Hamptons. Make her sit around the pool all day baking in the sun while the mother she shop or go have lunch. They go off and leave her there. It's not right I tell you. These people got no business treating the girl like that. They rich - you know? They all trendy and in the papers all the time, mixing with this one and that one. She was in the New York Times not long back talking about some rubbish. She talk about helping people. She help homeless kids I think but I tell you she a hypocrite. I hope the girl done leave her."
